Ratatouille
A food sharing app for everything in your fridge you were never going to get through.
Ratatouille matched people with more food than they could eat to people nearby who wanted it. You posted what was about to go to waste, browsed what everyone else was giving away, and arranged the handoff between yourselves.
It found an audience quickly. Through the summer of 2014 it was written up in the US and in Italy, mostly under some variation of the same headline: take my leftovers, please.
The iOS app is no longer on the App Store, and the ratatouille-app.com domain has since lapsed and been taken over by someone else. The press coverage below is what's left.
